TIFFANY COURSE - an introduction to stained glass art

We invite you to learn the basics of stained glass technique of Tiffany in the "Glass and Ceramics Studio Vitrasole".

Location: Ekaterinburg, ul. Gagarina, 30, Glass and Ceramics Studio Vitrasole.

Duration: 1 working day from 10.00 to 19.00 (two days for 5 hours are possible).

Cost: 7 500 rubles.

Glass and materials, as well as your finished products are included in the course price.

In theory and in practice, we will examine the fundamentals of stained glass technique of Tiffany, the history of its origin and direction, the features of working with glass and tools.

Consider the following topics:

1. Selection of glass for stained glass, the basis of color;

2. Production of sketches, cutting on cardboard;

3. Work with the form (three-dimensional objects);

4. Necessary tools and materials;

5. Safety at work.

Practical lessons:

1. Manufacturing of one stained-glass element (interior suspension 10 * 15, breakdown up to 5 parts) - 3h.

2. Production of volumetric forms (candlestick, breakdown up to 10 parts) - 5 hours.

1. Manufacturing of stained glass 20 * 20 cm with breakdown up to 20 parts.
